A deeply troubled and aging late-night talk show radio host runs his local radio station’s graveyard shift, and receives a series of phone calls from hostile listeners, leading him to contemplate ending his own life. But then, one night his adolescent nephew who he hasn’t seen in nearly three years calls into the show with a disturbing story to tell and their conversation takes an unexpected turn. Major sources of inspiration for Night Voices are Proverbs 18:21 and Psalms 90:12.
