Jesus died. He's now resurrected, but she cannot hold on to him. Mary Magdalene is alone. Still a young fiery woman of means and influence, she knows she has an assignment. But what? The Romans are pressing in on Christians. Pontius Pilate has gone mad. Christians are massacred. Mary must travel to Rome to seek justice. Roman soldiers, led by a cruel, maniacal man from Mary's past, will do anything to stop her. There is little chance for her success, or survival, but if she fails Christianity could be erased from history.
